Why now?
Three things are happening at once, and together they make this the moment for embedded-specific AI tooling.
New standards demand new tools
MISRA C:2025 was just released, and it's the first version to explicitly address AI-generated code. Legacy tools haven't caught up yet, so teams need a modern compliance workflow now.
Regulation is accelerating
The EU Cyber Resilience Act takes effect in September 2026, requiring baseline cybersecurity for every connected device sold in Europe. Every IoT and embedded product team will need to comply, and right now no affordable, embedded-specific AI tool helps them do it.
AI works everywhere except embedded
89% of engineering teams now use AI coding assistants, but none of them are built for embedded. Copilot hallucinates register addresses. Cursor doesn't know what an ISR is. Embedded engineers have been left out of the entire AI wave.
